Thirty-six Louisiana Daughters and four husbands of DAR(HODARS) attended the 132nd Continental Congress in Washington, DC this past week. Each year Daughters of the American Revolution meet to vote, celebrate awards won and present awards to worthy recipients. Claiborne Parish Chapter is comprised of women who have an ancestor that helped secure the founding of this nation. We span multiple generations in age, ethnicities, beliefs, and social backgrounds. Our common goal is to promote love of country, education of our youth, and preserving our heritage, buildings, and monuments. We support our active duty military and honor our veterans.
