This year marks the first time Claiborne Healthcare Foundation and Claiborne Memorial Medical Center are participating in Give for Good, and we are asking our community to show up in a big way.

Our hospital is vital to Claiborne Parish. It serves our families, friends, neighbors, and loved ones every single day. To continue bringing the very best care and services to our community, we need the support of the community behind us.

All donations given during this campaign will go directly to the 3D Mammogram Fund, helping us move closer to bringing advanced breast imaging technology to CMMC. This is an important investment in the health of the women in our parish and in the future of local healthcare.

Even more exciting, donations are matched by the Lagniappe Fund, amplifying your gift and helping us make an even bigger impact in our community.

During this year’s Give for Good campaign, every dollar donated to the Claiborne Healthcare Foundation will go directly to our 3D Mammogram Fund.

We are continuing our efforts to bring a 3D mammography machine to Claiborne Memorial Medical Center, giving women in our community better access to advanced breast cancer screening close to home. This is more than a campaign — it’s an investment in early detection, better outcomes, and the health of women across Claiborne Parish.

🎀 It’s Competition Time — and It’s All for a Cause! 🎀

The amazing reception team at Homer Medical Clinic has started a friendly challenge this month: they’re competing to see who can sell the most breast cancer awareness ribbons — and they’ve challenged the other Claiborne Memorial Medical Center clinics to join in too!

💗 Every ribbon sold helps raise money toward bringing a 3-D mammogram machine to our hospital — a life-saving piece of technology that will make a real difference for families right here in Claiborne Parish.

👉 Here’s how you can get involved:

Stop by the Claiborne Memorial Medical Center hospital lobby or any of our clinics to purchase your pink ribbon — and you can write the name of someone who has been affected by breast cancer on it to honor or remember them.

Grab a raffle ticket for one (or both!) of our two incredible prize packages — winners will be drawn October 31:

🎁 Prize #1: A Ladies Gift Basket filled with handmade items, candles, wine glasses, a purse, and more.
🦌 Prize #2: A Hunting Package featuring 1,000 pounds of deer corn, a grunt call, orange safety vest, rice bran, and other outdoor essentials.

🌸 We also have a large wooden breast cancer ribbon displayed in the hospital lobby, and we invite all breast cancer survivors to place their handprint on it — a beautiful and powerful tribute to hope and strength.

📍 Come See Us at Louisiana Legends Fest tomorrow, we’ll have everything available at the Claiborne Memorial Medical Center tent on the Square. You can purchase your ribbons, buy raffle tickets, and, if you’re a survivor, add your handprint to the ribbon.

🎀 Breast Cancer Awareness Month Fundraisers Are Underway! 🎀

October is all about hope, healing, and honoring the fighters, survivors, and loved ones whose lives have been touched by breast cancer — and you can join us in making a difference right here at home. 💗

🌸 $1 Pink Ribbons
Write the name of a loved one in memory or in honor of them, and we’ll proudly display your ribbon in the hospital lobby throughout October. Together, we’ll fill our walls with love and support — a powerful visual reminder that no one fights alone.

🎟️ Two Exciting Raffles – $5 each or 3 for $10

💝 Ladies Gift Basket – This one’s overflowing with treats and treasures, including a beautiful painting, a Kate Spade purse, wine glasses with an oyster shell wine stopper, pampering goodies, and so much more!

🦌 Hunting Package – Get ready for the season with this outdoor bundle featuring deer corn, rice bran, a salt block, and more — everything you need for a successful hunt.

💗 All proceeds benefit the Claiborne Healthcare Foundation and will go directly toward the purchase of a new 3D mammogram machine for Claiborne Memorial Medical Center — bringing earlier detection, better outcomes, and life-saving technology to our community.
