Wright Acres Grooming I have been grooming 12 years. I have a full time job with the State and groom on the side working around my full time job and my kids busy sports schedules.

I love what I do and cherish my clients! Thank you for your support! I grew up training and showing dogs in 4-H. I have owned Collies since I was 13 years old and breed them from time to time. I LOVE animals. I have 3 kids and have always wanted to raise them around a small farm. I am currently living my dream. I am beyond happy that I am able to start up a grooming side business! We still have a long ways to go but thought I’d take a moment to share with you all the progress that has been made! Weather has not cooperated much to say the least! Lots of headway has been made the past couple days! I’m super excited! Grooming will still take some time to get going since we have to figure out water and electrical still but what an adventure this has been so far!

Hi all!! Update nothing super exciting we have a long ways to go, nothing has gone as I expected. We FINALLY have our permit to build the new pole barn that will house the grooming salon! Huge step took a month to get the permit, don’t ask lol. So we are working with our builder to try and get it started since we were delayed and had not idea how long it would be delayed it has now caused issues with other projects he has so…fingers crossed he can still work us in and get the barn up!

I appreciate your continued patience and as always I am happy to give recommendations for grooming as most of you have already taken your babies elsewhere, I have been in contact with the individuals grooming them and hope that you are satisfied with the results of those grooms!

Keeping you guys updated as mich as I can! The move is coming along just working through 1 box at a time! I emptied the grooming salon at the old house yesterday so the salon is now on a trailer lol! Still working on the barns, one day at a time!

We are pulling permits to build the new salon, depending on response on those will determine how quickly that comes along! Will keep you all posted on progress!

We signed papers and moved essentials Thursday! Thought I would share a photo with you all!

Moving a home, farm and business and decreasing the size of house is a GIANT undertaking. We are still not 100% moved out of the old house, hoping to finish that today but then we still have to clear out our barns over there. It will take me some time to wrap my head around what space I have available. What Items to keep and what to part with!

Plans to break ground on our new pole barn (where my salon will go) is already underway! I apologize that this process is taking longer than anticipated many things were out of our control! I thank you all for your continued patience.

Again if anyone needs any referrals please let me know! I have a few friends that are groomers in Jackson that I would happily recommend. I worked with them and trained a couple and believe they would treat your babies the same way I do!

Officially moving Thursday. Still no updates on grooming. A couple of us are sick and the delayed move now runs into other stuff so we will have to take time to figure things out at the new house. I have 0 additional time and couldn’t even fathom grooming with how busy we are currently. The close may be longer than originally anticipated.

A couple of you have reached out to me so here is the latest Update:

We have not yet moved. We do not have a closing date yet, we have been told hopefully in the next week or 2. With the delay in moving and the extreme weather I have no clue on reopening.
I want to have full transparency with everyone I do not know what the future holds. This move is a huge undertaking!

My life is extremely busy and I’m doing my best to be there for my family and make decisions based off them and my mental health. I have 0 clue what I am capable of doing at the new place when it comes to the salon. I had hoped to not be closed down to too long BUT plans change and I am adjusting as I go.

Please if you have questions or concerns feel free to reach out to me! I will respond as promptly as I can.

I would advise at this time for you to make appointments for your fur babies elsewhere as I have no tentative reopen date.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! As I wrap up grooming for the year and prepare for the next adventure in my life I want all of you to know how grateful I am for you!

Thank you for your patience and understanding! I will keep everyone updated as information/planning is available to me. Right now I have no idea how long the shut down will last. We have to close, move and figure out something at the new place PLUS do our normal daily life stuff!

Please bare with me I will do things as quickly as I can!
