Our Arbor volunteers were busy Friday! We delivered the Cupid's Crew roses to residents at Victorian Village, Lago Vista, and the Homer Public Library. You would have thought we were passing out winning lottery tickets!! It literally put a smile on everyone's face!

The Homer Oak Arbor was busy again. We partnered with Cupid's Crew to deliver over 200 roses to local seniors and residents. A special Thank You to the Homer Library's Teen Group for the beautiful cards that we attached to the roses. Last Wednesday night was assembly night at the Homer Library to put it all together. What a rewarding project!!

Our Arbor presented TLC Animal Shelter with a donation last week. TLC does tremendous work making sure animals are cared for and adopted. The volunteers there are animal loving, special people. We're so happy we were able to make a small dent in their ongoing expenses!

Our Arbor had a busy week! This past Wednesday we presented the Legacy Ranch's Adult Life Skills Program a donation. Legacy Ranch in Lockport provides Equine-Assisted Therapy which includes: mental health, occupational, physical and speech therapy in partnership with licensed therapists. All therapies include interaction with the horses which has been scientifically-proven to help heal individuals who have not previously seen success with traditional styles of therapy.

The Homer Oak Arbor members visited A Joyful Heart in Mokena this Monday to present another gift! A Joy Heart provides clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, and gifts for over 900 Chicagoland children.
