Today was an eventful day at our monthly meeting. Scott Hofmeister and Don Saba captivated us with song and seminar. Then during our meeting, three new Board Members were installed: Amber Foley: Chief Range Officer/(1st VP), Greg Fulbright: Treasurer, and Scott Hofmeister: At-Large Director.

Today we celebrated our nation's 250th with a delicious pot-luck/cookout 4th-of-July-style, thanks to Paula and Brian Lance and helpers.

In other news, Chris Beisler replaced our kaput ice machine with a brand- new one. Thank-you to all who donate their time, energy, and resources to make our club what it is!

Florida Frontiersmen club members were out in the community this past weekend!

From Terri Davies:
Seven of us sewing sisters from our “Stitch This” Sewing Group had a wonderful time going to a Regency Market in Mount Dora this past weekend. Although we only stayed at the market for a couple of hours, we did see lots of vendors and answered a lot of questions from visitors as we wandered around. It was in a beautiful historic inn.

Pre-Registration:
September 1, 2026 - December 1, 2026

Alafia River Rendezvous: January 13-24, 2027

School Tour:
January 21, 2027

Scouts:
January 22-23, 2027

Visitors Day:
January 22-23, 2027

The Alafia River Rendezvous is an annual, pre-1840 living history encampment hosted by the Florida Frontiersmen in Homeland, FL.

Congratulations to Sherri Cox and Tony Triplett our 2027 Segundos and 2028 Booshways for the Alafia River Rendezvous.

Each year, members of the Florida Frontiersmen club submit applications for the Segundo position, with the current Booshway and Board of Directors selecting the chosen candidate.

Thank you Sherri and Tony for taking on this two year commitment to make the Alafia River Rendezvous a success!
