Today, the rodeo world feels a little less sparkly. 🤍

Dolly Parton embodied so much of the cowgirl spirit we celebrate in rodeo royalty—grit and grace, kindness and confidence, big dreams, bigger hair, and just enough rhinestones to make sure you never went unnoticed.

She reminded generations of girls that you can be tough and tender, humble and bold, and completely, unapologetically yourself.

Rest easy, Dolly. There will always be a little Dolly in every cowgirl who puts on her boots, adds a little sparkle, and rides into the arena with a smile. 🤍👑✨

🚨🤠 A GIANT THANK YOU TO THE PHILLIPS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE & SHERIFF ROMERO! 🤠🚨

We want to extend the biggest, most heartfelt THANK YOU to the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff Romero for their incredible generosity and support of the Phillips County Fair Royalty Program! 👑💙

Sheriff Romero generously offered the support of the Sheriff’s Office in providing chaps for members of our royalty program, helping ensure our girls have the proper western attire and equipment to represent Phillips County proudly throughout their reigns.

Junior Princess Dawsyn Daniel’s chaps were ordered right away, and Sheriff Romero went above and beyond to help hurry the process along in hopes that they would arrive in time for the Haxtun Corn Fest Parade and Coronation Ceremony.

And they did!! 🙌🏼😭👑

We are SO excited that Dawsyn will get to ride proudly in her beautiful new chaps that weekend, and we are incredibly grateful to Sheriff Romero and the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office for making it possible.

Sheriff Romero has stepped into his new role with such enthusiasm and a genuine desire to support the people, youth, and programs of Phillips County. His willingness to jump in and support our royalty program means more than we can adequately put into words.

Our royalty program depends on community members and organizations who believe these young ladies are worth investing in — not simply for the crowns, banners, and western attire they wear, but for the confidence, responsibility, horsemanship, service, and community pride this program is designed to develop.

Sheriff Romero and the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office, THANK YOU for supporting the Phillips County Fair Royalty Program and investing in the young ladies who represent our county. 💙

We are incredibly grateful for your generosity and support, and Dawsyn is VERY excited to put those new chaps to their intended use! 👑🐴

✨ Parade day was one for the books!🤠👑🐴

The Phillips County Fair Royalty was proud to hit the parade route and celebrate our community in true western style! Queen Ciara had the special honor of riding Grand Marshal Darrel Tomky’s horse, while Junior Princess Dawsyn and Little Misses Evalynne and Alyse cruised the route in style with Sharlene Gordon in the Mustang! 👑✨

And we loved having our friends from Brush Rodeo Royalty join us! Junior Princess Blair, Princess Blaze, Attendant Fallon, and Queen Lexi looked right at home in the saddle as they rode alongside us on horseback. 🐴💕

From horses and royalty waves to smiling faces lining the streets, it was the perfect way to celebrate the Phillips County Fair and the community that makes it so special. Thank you to everyone who waved, cheered, and celebrated with us along the route! 🤠👑
