📱 Week 1: Emergency Notifications
Update your contact information and sign up for local emergency alerts.

🌊 Week 2: Climate Resilience & Flood Mitigation
Understand your flood risk and learn how Holyoke is building a more climate-resilient future.
On September 16 at Holyoke Media, we will host a special screening of an amazing video spotlighting Holyoke’s behind-the-scenes water-management infrastructure. Learn how Holyoke is working to help keep you dry!

🤝 Week 3: CERT Sign-Up & Spotlight
Learn about Holyoke’s Community Emergency Response Team, see CERT volunteers in action, and discover how you can join.
We will also hold a special event honoring our dedicated citizen volunteers and nonprofit and public-safety partners for their contributions to emergency response in Holyoke.

🎒 Week 4: Personal Preparedness
Make a household plan, build an emergency kit, and check on your neighbors.
Follow along all month and take one step each week to become better prepared.

Come together with our community to commemorate this historic milestone and view a special Declaration of Independence Presentation honoring the birth of our great nation.

On Saturday, our Scouts in Holyoke helped out at the 15th annual Back to School event in Holyoke. Along with our Scouts, we had help from some parents, leaders and staff in council and the Masonic Lodge. Through everything, we were able to make the event enjoyable and fun for the families.

The youth and families were able to have fun participating in the inflatable archery, race rubber duckies down the rain gutter and even won medals competing in the race. They also had the Jackie Robinson Story Walk.

This event is being postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. We will be rescheduling a new date for the hike. Stay tuned for a new date TBD!!!

For the safety of our families and Scouts, we will be cancelling our Cub Scout meeting tonight.

Our Scouts and their families helped run Run Aid Station #2 at the Duck Pond in Forest Park.

Thank you to Mount Tom Lodge for helping us out!

Thank you to Troop 303 South Hadley leaders for coming to help our Scouts out during the race. We really appreciate all of your help!!

Our Scouts had the honor and privilege of attending the Memorial Day ceremony at the War Memorial Building. They also had the honor of placing the wreaths during the ceremony and helped pass out the yellow flowers to the Gold Star families.

Today, our Scouts helped place flags at St. Jerome's Cemetery in Holyoke in honor of our Veterans.

Our Scouts BSA Troop 5235 were at the pancake breakfast today and helped run the booth.

Our Scouts had a lot of fun running the booth. They even had fun playing pancake tic-tac-toe and Pancake I-Spy and were undefeated in the games.

Even had a raffle for a Lorax Stuffy.
