The Greater Holyoke Council for Human Understanding presents its final portion of the Mary Doyle Curran Project with a short program at her gravesite at St. Jerome's Cemetary (Northampton Street) on Saturday, Jun 29, 2024, 11-11:30am. Board member, the late Sue Ellen Panitch began the project with a book group centered on Curran's novel "The Parish and the Hill" about her life in Holyoke.
After Sue Ellen's passing, HCC Professor and CHU board member,
Pat Kennedy picked up the torch to finish Sue Ellen's work which culminates in the installation of a grave marker and acknowledgement of her legacy at St. Jerome's Cemetary on June 29th.
