We are saddened to share the passing of retired Holyoke Firefighter William Collamore at the age of 92.

William served our country in the U.S. Army and our community as Holyoke’s longest-serving School Committee member. He was also a familiar and dedicated presence in the Holyoke Knights basketball program and so many other programs and committees throughout the city. His commitment to public service and the Holyoke community touched countless lives, and his legacy will not be forgotten.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, former colleagues, and all who knew him. Rest in peace, Brother Collamore.
