Thank you to the Polish National Credit Union for organizing a collection drive for Alianza at their Front Street branch in Chicopee. We received generous donations of personal care products, bedding, household essentials, and baby items for families impacted by domestic violence. Thank you to all who donated! Earlier this month, Alianza participated in Serve with Liberty, Liberty Mutual Insurance's annual employee community service program. Employees from Liberty Mutual and Comparion Insurance volunteered time to spring-clean the shelter’s yard, add perennials, and tackle shrub removal. Many thanks to Marie, Alyssa, Karen, and Melanie. Thanks, too, to Sarah of Bahlke’s Fine Gardening for providing her landscaping tools and expertise.

Today we celebrate welcoming Alianza DV Services, Inc. Alianza is dedicated to assisting, supporting, and empowering those whose lives are affected by battering and abuse. Alianza has sheltered more than 10,000 women and children, and assisted 22,000 others through community base support programs. All of their services are free and confidential and they offer a 24 hour hotline. Welcome to the ERC5 community Alianza, we are happy to have you.
