To our HYBL families, players, and supporters—

Today was meant to be a special day for all of us—a jamboree to kick off and celebrate the start of our baseball season. We had planned to begin with team pictures and end with a march to Springdale for a ceremony to bring everyone together and officially start the season.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. Between the weather challenges and our photographer being unable to reschedule, we had to make difficult decisions on the fly. On top of that, we know there were frustrations surrounding uniforms. Like many youth programs, we faced some unexpected delays, and while we did our best to “fake it till we made it” with what we had, we understand it wasn’t ideal.

We’ve heard your feedback and understand the disappointment some families felt today. Please know that this league is run by a small board of five volunteers who dedicate their time year-round to make this experience possible for all of our kids. While today wasn’t perfect, every decision made came from a place of trying to do the best we could with the circumstances we were given.

With that said, we want to sincerely thank everyone who showed up, stayed positive, pitched in, and made the best of the situation. Your support, flexibility, and willingness to help did not go unnoticed—and it’s what makes this community special.

We are looking forward to a great season ahead, and we’re committed to making it a positive and memorable one for all of our players.

This morning will be PICTURES ONLY- our photographer last minute can only do today for pictures. The fields are going to be too wet for us to play or have our regular scheduled jamboree.

We will stay at Dean for pictures- but we will not walk to Springdale.
We apologize for the inconvenience but we will make the best of it!

Good rainy Morning HYBL!

We have decided to keep our Jamboree ON for today!
It should clear up by 9am.

It will be a bit wet- but we have pictures to take, hot dogs to eat and a season to kick off!

We hope to see you all there to celebrate HYBL’s opening day! ⚾️

UNIFORM ANNOUNCEMENT!

Hello players and families-

We had a minor glitch with uniforms and are working it all out now.

We planned, ordered and worked so hard to have uniforms to you well before the jamboree & unfortunately that did not happen.
We will have ALL uniforms to players by tomorrow morning at Dean before our pictures and jamboree.

Good morning, HYBL families! ⚾️

Thank you all for your patience and support as we worked through the beginning-of-season details. We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding and teamwork!

We’re excited to share that players will receive their uniforms at practice this week. 👏

Our Jamboree is coming up on Saturday, May 2nd, and the forecast is looking great so far!

We will begin our walk from Dean Tech to Springdale at 11:00 AM.

📸 Team pictures will take place before the Jamboree. Your coach will let you know your team’s picture time and when to arrive at Dean.

Once we arrive at Springdale, we will gather on the diamond for our Opening Ceremony. Afterward, each Small Fry and Pee-Wee team will play a short 2–3 inning game to officially kick off the season!

We can’t wait to celebrate the start of another great HYBL season with all of you! ⚾️

IMPORTANT INFORMATION/REMINDERS:

-All coaches are getting their FINAL rosters and equipment this week. They will reach out to you by the end of this week/beginning of next week.

-We are EARLY in the season- all practices are weather dependent, and our season doesn't "officially" start until our Jamboree on May 2nd! Please be patient, you will hear from us soon!

-Please check your email for important updates as well as Facebook. The email may come from "blue sombrero".

- Our jamboree May 2nd and Picture day is for ALL HYBL Players. There will be a picture schedule coming soon.

-HYBL provides a uniform and hat.
*You are responsible for Grey pants, cleats and a glove.
*The league has bats, helmets and balls for the season. You are not required to bring your own.
