Please join us and The Support Network for a conversation with Marisol Garcia, the new Child Advocate of MA, tomorrow, October 20th, from 2- 3 p.m.

We are looking forward to learning more about Marisol and her role in supporting children and families through the Office of the Child Advocate, along with sharing our needs and concerns here in Western Mass.

Did you know that National Disability Employment Awareness Month ( ) is celebrated every October to honor the contributions of workers with disabilities and promote inclusive workplaces?

The MDDC would like to feature some stories about people with developmental disabilities working in competitive integrated employment (CIE).

Competitive integrated employment are jobs people with disabilities are working in the community alongside people without disabilities, AND they get paid the same amount of money.

Have you landed a job, learned new skills, reached a career goal, or taken an important step toward the job you want? We want to hear your story! Your experiences can help educate the public about disability employment and highlight the valuable skills workers with disabilities bring to our economy.
