This table was created at the 2025 Hawaii Artist Collaboration at the Lake Studio in Holualoa. It started about ten years ago by Michael Cullen and Mats Fogelvik, when they painted a koa slab avocado green with milk paint as a joke. Last year, Mats decided to finish the table and collaborated to create the functional coffee table with two different tops, one painted and one curly koa. The other makers involved were Matthew D'Avella, Ian Rogers, Tai Lake, Aaron Hammer and Robert Forbes. The Cypress frame is made by Tai Lake, the legs are turned by Aaron Hammer. Wooden balls by Robert Forbes. Ian Rogers did the stainless steel work. Matthew did some carving, Mats shaped the slab and did the overall design and assembly. A big thank you to Tai Lake for letting us use his koa slab!

Hi there,

We are downsizing our interiors library and have many samples that mixed media artists might like to have: wood samples, wallcovering samples, decorative plastics, rattan, etc.

Do you know anyone who would like to take these off our hands?

We are trying to keep this out of our landfill....
