Our June 3rd meeting is our annual "State of the Club" message. It is also the month we bring donations for our local Humane Society. You may bring items from their wish list or make a monetary donation. Every little bit helps. See you next week.

GUESS WHAT! NEW PLAN! They have just started advertising for the movie "Pressure" here at the mall. So, we don't have to go to Yuma. We will meet at the club at 10:30 on Friday, May 29. Or you can meet us at the mall. The movie starts at 11:10. Hope to see you there!

The movie "Pressure," which I very much want to see, is not playing at Imperial Valley theaters. It is playing in Yuma. Here's my plan: meet at the club at 8:30, have breakfast in Yuma before the movie, watch the movie and come home. I will be taking my van if anyone wants to ride along.

We have 18 tickets still looking for a home. Surely there is someone out there in need of a ducky. Susan and Cindy will be at the club on Wednesday, May 13, from 5:00 to 5:30, to take money, unsold tickets, or better yet, give you a couple of more to sell. Please, have money and tickets turned in by Monday, May 18 (or contact Susan and let her know of your situation).
