Holton Community Theatre is excited to announce a new after school program, The Matinee Club! This program is designed to invite community members to share, create, or teach new ideas and concepts to 3rd-6th grade students. We hope to offer this program the last Wednesday of each month.

Our first Matinee Club will be Wednesday, September 30th from 3:30-5:30 with our special guest, Katie Morris. Katie is a talented artist and art teacher. She will be teaching Pop Art Collage with students. The cost is $20 and students will receive a snack and learn a new skill!

Holton Community Theatre is proud to announce Grammy award winning jazz musician, Jim Seeley in concert on Saturday, October 24! Jim Seeley, a 1978 graduate of Holton High School, is a prolific jazz trumpeter, composer, and educator.

There will be a meet and greet from 7-8 pm with the concert starting at 8 pm. Tickets are now available at holtoncommunitytheatre.org

When: 1-4 pm
The Game Plan: When you arrive you will fill out a short questionnaire. You will be asked to sing a piece from the show or another piece that you are comfortable singing. Finally, you will read with other people auditioning.

This is a beautiful show about four little women as they try to find their way in a world during the 1860’s and early 1870’s.

Little Women the Musical follows free-spirited writer Jo March as she reflects on her family in Concord, Massachusetts, balancing her ambitions with the trials of the Civil War alongside her sisters Meg, Beth, and Amy. The story is woven with music written specifically for the stage.

I am thankful for theatre. I am blessed by this cast and crew. I would say that LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS was a group effort. Many from this cast directed as much as I did. Many people involved picked up where I dropped the ball. I’m glad we were able to carry each other.
