📚 This Saturday at Glory Days 🤗

Local 4th grade students have been spending their free time at school organizing a fundraiser to support the Holton Beck Bookman Library expansion! 💛📚

Please come out and support these hardworking kids at Glory Days in downtown Holton on Saturday, May 23rd from 8:00 AM–2:00 PM!

They will be selling:
✨ Water & lemonade
✨ Brownies & cookies
✨ Bookmarks
✨ Bracelets
✨ Stickers

If anyone would like to donate baked goods, drinks, or other goodies for the kids to sell, please drop them off on Friday, May 22nd at the Holton Beck Bookman Library.

If you would rather make a monetary donation toward supplies or the fundraiser, message me and I can forward my Venmo information.

We are proud of these kids for using their creativity and teamwork to give back to our community library! 📖💕

Last week, FOBBL and United Way of Kaw Valley celebrated 📚National Library Week 📚by bringing the Junior Leader Reader program back to Jackson County.

The Junior Leader Reader (JLR) program, initiated in 2010 by the United Way of Kaw Valley's Young Leaders Society, enhances early literacy for grade school students in Jackson County. Volunteers read to classrooms, and students receive free, take-home books. The program aims to increase access to books, improve school readiness, and support reading comprehension.
