Hello all....
As with all of you, the Thrive organization is hunkered down, practicing our , and doing our part to keep our community safe and healthy. We've postponed our weekly meals and meetings until we are all ready to come out and see one another again.

With that in mind, if you want to be involved in Thrive Jackson County as a volunteer (providing meals, Ally, childcare and more) or as a participant (Leader), please feel free to contact us at any time.

Our goal will be to reconvene early summer IF and WHEN the CDC, KDHE and our local public health department give us the all clear. Until then, stay safe and healthy, wash your hands, and !

I just can’t seem to make it. There are so many things to do. I don’t have time. People that go those things have it all together – why can’t I? They’re not going to tell me anything I don’t already know. But you know what? Sometimes, we feel the exact same way. Life can be hard sometimes. Sometimes, that sometimes seems to last forever. Research has shown over and over again that we can’t control what happens to us in life BUT we can control how we react to those events in life and having a good strong support team (relationships) surrounding you improves your chance of a good recovery from a negative event.

Thrives mission is to reduce poverty by building skills and relationships that strengthen families & individuals”. We are here to help. To listen. To walk with you through those struggles and get you going on the right path out of financial and social poverty.

Please join us any Thursday night at 5:30 for a free meal, fellowship, and to learn more about the Thrive program. We hope to see you tonight.
