Jackson Amateur Radio Club The Jackson Amateur Radio Club (JARC) is a club serving the Jackson County, Kansas and NE Kansas area Amateur (HAM) Radio Operators.

The Club was first formed in 1992 and became ARRL Affiliate in 1993. Founded in 1992, later become non-active due to key members passing. Recently became Re-active in spring of 2017. We are ARRL Affiliated, and looking to try and bring some great repeaters, modes, activities, and events to the area to showcase, expand, experiment, grow, educate, and explore the Amateur Radio Hobby. Proudly supporting NE Kansas Amateur Radio Community!

Club Call: KS0JA Repeater: 146.775 Standard (negative)- Offset, No Tone Meetings: 2nd Sunday of the month, 5PM at 401 Cheyenne Dr. Holton, KS 66436 Membership in the JARC is open to any and all Amateur Operators in the area, or those interested in Amateur (HAM) radio regardless of class of license. The club is seeking to maintain activities and programs focusing on HF, VHF, UHF, contests, Volunteer Examining, DX’ing, CW, SSB, digital modes of communication, propagation, emergency communications, operating skills, satellite communications, just to mention a few that quickly come to mind.
