🎃 HINEYWEEN 2026 — WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY'S INPUT! 🧡
First and foremost, we hope everyone is safe and doing okay following the hurricane. We know our community has been through so much over the past several days, and many families are still without power, cleaning up debris, dealing with property damage, and facing unexpected expenses.
With our Hineyween event at Tiny Hiney Farm scheduled for this Saturday, October 17, we're facing a difficult decision, and we'd really love to hear from YOU!
**Hineyween has NOT been canceled or postponed at this time.
We're simply trying to make the best decision for our community.
On one hand, we know families have been through a lot. The last thing we want is for anyone to feel stressed, overwhelmed, or pressured to attend an event when there are much bigger things happening in their lives.
On the other hand, we also wonder if an evening of Halloween fun, laughter, trick-or-treating, local vendors, and a little escape from the hurricane aftermath might be what some families could use right now. ❤️
We have been looking forward to bringing Hineyween to our community, but we also want to be respectful of everything our neighbors are going through.
So we're asking YOU!
🎃 OPTION 1: Keep Hineyween on October 17! Our families could use a fun evening together and a little sense of normalcy.
🍂 OPTION 2: Postpone Hineyween to a later date, giving our community more time to recover, clean up, and get back on its feet.
There is absolutely no wrong answer here. We genuinely want to hear how our community is feeling.
Please comment below with OPTION 1 or OPTION 2, and feel free to share your thoughts!
We're all navigating the aftermath of this storm together, and whatever we decide, we want it to be with our community's best interests at heart.
Thank you for supporting Tiny Hiney Farm and our rescued horses and donkeys. 🐴
