Better in the Saddle (BITS) Equine Assisted Programs A program to meet the physical and psychological needs of people with disabilities and youth at risk with the aid of specially selected and trained horses.

Therapeutic horseback programs work with the riders to strengthen their bodies and minds by developing physical, mental and emotional capabilities through interaction with instructors, coaches, specially trained equine and dedicated volunteers. These activities create an enhanced sense of personal worth and awareness of self in relation to peers and others, all the while encouraging independence and responsibility.
