🚒🔥 Public Day at the Firehouse! 🔥🚒

The Holstein Fire Department is opening our doors to the community! Join us on October 1st from 4:00–7:00 PM at the fire station for a couple hours of fun, hands-on activities, and a chance to see what being a firefighter is all about!

Our annual Steak Night was an absolute blast! We want to send a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Holstein Fire Department. ❤️

We’re busy getting everything set up for our annual steak night, and we couldn’t be more excited to see everyone! We’re looking forward to a great night with our friends, family, and all of the amazing supporters of the Holstein Fire Department. ❤️🚒

🚒 Monthly Practice Night! 🚒

Our crew put in some valuable training during our monthly practice night!

This time, we worked through a scenario involving someone trapped inside a wagon, giving us the opportunity to practice confined space rescue and the use of our SARS system.

A huge thank you to Mike and Andrea Stieneke for bringing the wagon out and allowing us to use it for training!

Training like this is invaluable. It allows our members to practice in a controlled environment so we're better prepared when a real emergency happens. 💪🚒

🚒 Holstein Fire Response 🔥

Earlier this afternoon, our department was called to a semi fire. Crews arrived quickly and were able to get the fire under control, resulting in minimal damage to the vehicle.

Thankfully, no civilians or firefighters were injured during the incident.

A big thank you to all of our members who responded and helped get the situation under control! 👨‍🚒🚑

🚒 Structure Fire – Holstein 🚒

Last evening, the Holstein Fire Department responded to a structure fire in Holstein.

Our crews arrived on scene within minutes and quickly extinguished the fire, keeping the damage to a minimum.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

Great work by our volunteers for their quick response and teamwork! 👨‍🚒🔥

And another thank you to the Galva Fire Department for the mutual aid!

If you hear a siren going through town tomorrow, don’t worry — it’s just us! 😂🚒

We will be around town from 1-3pm!

The Holstein Fire Department will be cruising around town on our golf cart with the siren going, helping us sell tickets for our Annual Steak Night! 🥩🔥

So if you hear that siren, there’s no emergency — we’re just out hunting down some hungry steak lovers! 😋

If you see us, stop us and grab your tickets! We appreciate everyone’s support of the Holstein Fire Department! ❤️‍🔥
