🎉🍎 Congratulations to Evergreen Elementary's Kindergarten Teacher, Mrs. Lyga, for being named the Holmen Area Rotary Club's Teacher of the Month for June! 🏆✨

Mrs. Lyga's dedication to her students, nurturing classroom environment, and passion for helping young learners grow make a tremendous impact each and every day. Her kindness, patience, and commitment to student success help create a strong foundation for our youngest Vikings.

As part of this recognition, Mrs. Lyga received a $200 donation to use in her classroom. We know these funds will help support meaningful learning experiences and continue making her classroom a welcoming place where students can thrive.

Thank you, Mrs. Lyga, for all that you do for our students and families!

Looks a little cleaner in Holmen today. The weather gods smiled on us today as the Holmen Area Rotary Club picked up trash on Holmen Drive from the four lane to the last roundabout. Didn’t find any treasures but didn’t get grossed out either. Thank you to Holmen High Interactors that came out and kept a group of old people from falling over on the steep berms.

Today members from the Holmen Area Rotary Club and representatives from the Village of Holmen met to formally hand over the new Bubbler, Bottle Filler and Dog Watering Station to the Village of Holmen. The new Bubbler is located in Deerwood Park right next to the ball park shelter. Holmen's Deerwood Park is the Village's most heavily used park and consists of multiple ball fields, tennis courts, soccer fields, basketball courts, walking trail and a large playground. The bubbler furthers Rotary's mission by providing the community easy access to clean water, to promote healthy hydration while promoting the use of re-usable bottles to help protect the environment. A dog watering station was also added to hydrate our furry companions during the hot summer. The bubbler was professionally installed by Niebuhr Plumbing & Heating with funds supplied by HARC and also a generous grant from Rotary District 6250

Our Club did an offsite visit on Earth Day to Dynamic Recycling.
There were only two of us that had seen the operations of Dynamic before. We were all amazed at this large operation.
It was so nice to know that they pride themselves in keeping their clients information private (AKA swiping data) and that every item gets a tracking number so that they can follow its path.
We are lucky to have a facility like this so close to home when it comes to recycling and re-purposing items.
Thank you to Dynamic for being so generous and professional. They do these tours for many groups, if you are interested, don't be afraid to reach out!
