Congratulations to Kenneth Hunold and Robert Daley on their first EV show in a leadership role. Last Saturday, the Washington Township Green Team hosted a Green Festival followed by Fireworks. Perfect occasion to show V2L - EV powered popcorn maker was a great conversation starter. Our green flags look fabulous in front of the fireworks spectacle.

Yesterday at Metuchen Street Fair, we hit the record for both electric test drives and rides, at 35 and 42, respectively. Our new arch graphics was a fantastic attraction and thanks to Plug In America grant, and support from Electric Vehicle Association we gave ice cream to everyone who participated. Tesla brought Cybertruck and Model Y for rides, demonstrating assisted autopilot. Alexander P Brown was the event captain, also a member of Metuchen Environmental Commission. Thanks to the collective effort of the on-the-ground NJEVA members, this event was a great success. Stanislav Jaracz , Den Bur , Andi I. Stanislav Jaracz and Sjamsu from NJEVA joined Sustainable Jersey at their Summit in Bell Works on Friday. Thank you Driveelectricnj, Duplak from , Parker from , Stuart from ECSi, Arya from , Denker from for bringing your vehicles and charging tech. Thanks to ECSi, every vehicle left the event charged up.
New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection did a great job in facilitating electric test drives.

Great article in NY Times reminding us all how EVs are cheaper to own amid climbing gas prices. Rememeber that here in New Jersey, we have up to $4,000 rebate towards the purchase of new EV.

War in Iran has disrupted global oil supplies, which is prompting some car shoppers to look for ways to climb off “the gas-price roller coaster.”
