Happy New Year!

Following past practices and based on the advice of a prior Holmdel BOE Attorney, this page has been “scrubbed” clean of the Facebook posts of candidates who were duly elected to the Holmdel Board of Education, except for the 2025 official election results. This is to avoid any confusion or misinterpretation that any campaign post or position articulated on this page represents any official views of the Holmdel BOE.

The name of this page is changed annually to reflect new BOE candidates running for election. It will clearly identify, in the Intro and About sections, when a different BOE campaign committee is responsible for the page, i.e., under “new management”.

In addition, for transparency and to avoid any misperceptions or confusion, each year’s BOE candidates have used and will use different “slogans” or brands, as well as websites with different URLs, for their campaigns.

This is all done to uphold high standards of transparency, integrity and the avoidance of misrepresentation.

Unlike the unethical practice where a sitting BOE member who is in a leadership position uses “Holmdel Board of Education Member” as part of the name for his personal page and then endorses BOE candidates, we want to be certain that there is no implied official endorsement, board affiliation, or who is behind the communications.

Thank you.

The Official Results

“Shaped by Service, Focused on Students”

“ … My parents made it a priority to serve their school community; my mom was the President of our Parent Teachers Association and led the building of our elementary school playground, while my dad coached football and basketball and served on the Board of Education. We spoke often about having one reputation in life; that your actions have consequences, and how you treat others matters. These references are the parts of my background that I lean on heavily and shape what I want to pass on to my three young boys: developing a strong work ethic, making smart financial decisions, and caring for others. …”
