For the FIRST TIME EVER, the Hollywood PAL Amateur Boxing Team has landed in Los Angeles to represent HOLLYWOOD, FLORIDA on an INTERNATIONAL STAGE at their first-ever international tournament in Oxnard, California! 🌎🥊

This is bigger than boxing. This is about representing our city, our team, our families, and everyone who has believed in these young fighters and supported them along the way. 💙👊

Now it’s time to put in the work, step through those ropes, and show the world what HOLLYWOOD PAL is made of! 💪🔥

🐬 Building Bonds Beyond the Badge: Summer Camp Trip to SeaWorld Orlando

Our Hollywood Florida PAL summer campers had an epic field trip to SeaWorld Orlando!

From riding the carousel and making a splash on the water rides to sharing laughs over pizza lunch and winning giant prizes, our campers and Hollywood Police Department Officers created memories that will last a lifetime. Days like these are what PAL is all about; fostering positive mentorship, trust, and strong community relationships between youth and law enforcement in a fun, mentor-driven environment.

• Location: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center, 2400 Charleston Street, Hollywood, FL 33020

Schedule of Events
• Basketball Clinic (8:00 AM – 10:00 AM): Features skills, drills, and games. All ages and skill levels are welcomed!
• Back-to-School Bash (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Free school supplies, community resources, and giveaways (while supplies last).
• Family Fun (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM): Enjoy games, music, food, bounce houses, face painting, and so much more!

This win wasn't luck—it was the result of countless hours in the gym, unwavering discipline, and a commitment to getting better every single day. Every round reflected the work Marcelo has put in behind the scenes.

As the oldest member of the Hollywood PAL boxing team, Marcelo has grown up in this gym. From a young kid with a big heart to a leader, mentor, and role model for the next generation, he represents everything the Hollywood PAL family stands for. His impact reaches far beyond the ring, and the Hollywood Police Department couldn't be prouder of the man he's become.
