McKenzie Promising Futures

Now in existence for a 9th year, McKenzie Promising Futures, continues to strive to offer scholarships to students attending Lansdowne Friends School. We ask you to support our organization this year with a donation to our annual fundraising campaign. Promising Futures can only achieve its goals with the assistance of generous donations from individuals and companies like you. You may be wondering

, "Where does my donation go?” All donations go directly towards scholarships to students attending Lansdowne Friends School. Sure Sports Lending will match donations yearly up to $10,000. The Parent of one Recipient said: “LFS is the school I wish I had attended as a child. Fast-forward to the next generation and my child has been able to complete another year in a school that he loves to attend because we received the funds to make that happen. Austin has formed healthy relationships and is taught about cultural differences, which I know he would not have received in public school. LFS has also increased his love of reading substantially. What I appreciate most is the small class and the focus on reading that surpasses any school that Austin would otherwise have attended. Thank you McKenzie Promising Futures Fund!” -Mother of 2014-15 Promising Futures Recipient. A 2014-15 Recipient wrote a letter: “You don’t know how much I appreciate you giving me that scholarship in 3rd grade. It really helped my family and I can move on throughout LFS. Not only do I appreciate you, but you are a very inspiring man. I heard you went to LFS too, and you gave scholarships to those who needed it. One day I hope to be successful and come back to LFS to give scholarships to kids in need. This also pushes me to do more in art because it’s my passion. Thank You.”
