Congratulations to Thalia Farquharson ‘23 on being named the student winner of the 2026 Core77 Design Award for Furniture & Lighting! Her lamp, Sundae, is a postmodern-inspired desk lamp designed to bring joy to the workspace. Thalia is entering her senior year at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she is studying Industrial Design.

Thalia’s achievement is a testament to her talent, hard work, and dedication to her craft. We are incredibly proud to see our alumni pursuing their passions and earning recognition for their creativity and innovation.
