Former physician Larry Nassar is among more than 20,000 convicted s*x offenders removed from Michigan’s s*x offender registry, according to a Facebook post Tuesday by the Eaton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

The removal follows a major ruling earlier this month by the Michigan Supreme Court determining that individuals who committed s*x offenses prior to July 2011 cannot be required to comply with the state’s current s*x offender registry law. Read more at the link below

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has confirmed to WBBJ that they are assisting the Newbern Police Department in investigating a kidnapping in Newbern. Police have not yet provided details of the kidnapping, but the mother of the girl wrote on social media that the suspect "ripped out the window AC to her bedroom window and drug her out of the house into the woods."
