Easy and delicious classic Israeli cheese cake 🌸
עוגת גבינה פירורים מדהימה וקלה - תשמרו ותכינו!

Ingredients:
For The Crumb Base and Topping :
- 2 cups of all purpose flour
- 2 tea spoons of baking powder
- 50 gr of sugar
- 2 sticks of butter (~200 gr)
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 table spoon vanilla extract (best is vanilla past)

For The Cheese Filling :
- 0.5 gr whipping cream
- 3/4 cups of sugar (150 gr)
- 1 packet of Vanilla Instant pudding
- 200 ml sour cream
- 500 gr Quark Creamy Soft Cheese (can substitute with Mascarpone cheese)
- Lemon zest from 1/2 lemon (if you like)

Preparation:
1) Preheat: 180°C.
2) The Dough: Pulse flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla, and cold butter in a food processor until crumbly. Add yolks and pulse briefly until unified.
3) The Split: Press half into a greased springform pan for the base. Flatten the other half on a parchment-lined tray for the crumbs.
4) Bake: Both pans for 20 mins until golden. Cool completely.
5) The Filling: Whip heavy cream, sugar, Instant pudding, and sour cream into a stable frosting. Fold in the cheese on low speed until smooth.
6) Assemble: Layer the cream over the base, top with hand-crumbled dough, and chill for 4+ hours.

We also want to thank Saf Assaf Day for the delicious Shavuot-style dairy menu and wonderful hospitality that made the evening even more special

The IAC proudly hosted our first ever IAC MAGEN Day in Aventura, Florida.

Community members came together to learn how to become more civically engaged, build meaningful connections, and strengthen our community. We heard from an inspiring panel featuring mayors and chiefs of police before breaking into focused task forces on law enforcement, fighting antisemitism, and public officials.

A special thank you to our speakers Scott Cushing, Larisa Svechin, and Chief Raleigh Flowers, and to our incredible host Oded Hadani, for helping make this meaningful day possible.

Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient, and proactive community.
