Hollywood Fire Rescue is collecting donations to support individuals and families impacted by the devastating earthquake in Colombia. Every donation can make a difference for those who have lost homes, belongings, and essential supplies.

🚒 All 6 Hollywood Fire Rescue stations are accepting donations!

PRIORITY NEEDS:

The Hollywood HERO Hands-Only CPR Course is a FREE one-hour class designed to teach community members the basics of recognizing cardiac arrest, calling for help, and performing Hands-Only CPR until first responders arrive.

📅 Classes are held on the last Tuesday of each month
🕕 6 p.m.
📍 Memorial Regional Hospital – Conference Room 4A

Whether you're a parent, grandparent, coach, teacher, or simply want to be prepared in an emergency, this free class can help you make a difference when every second counts.

Please note: Hollywood HERO is a free community service run by volunteer ER staff and EMS personnel. Participants will receive a Hollywood HERO certificate of completion, but an American Heart Association certification is not provided and the certificate may not meet employment requirements.

In the aftermath of recent earthquakes in Venezuela, countless families have been impacted, lives have been lost and entire communities are facing unimaginable hardship. Access to basic life necessities are severely limited. Your support can make a life-changing difference.

All City of Miami Beach Fire Stations are accepting donation items from Monday, June 29 through Sunday, July 12. All donations will be provided to Global Empowerment Mission, which is also accepting volunteers and financial contributions.

Happy Juneteenth 🇺🇸, our newest federal holiday. For those who may not be familiar with its history, Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States - a moment that represents the long journey toward fulfilling our nation’s founding promise of freedom.

To me, Juneteenth is also forward looking. A reminder of the work we continue together to ensure that opportunity and respect for all remains central to the American ideals of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Wishing everyone a meaningful Juneteenth.

Everything you need to know for the June 27 Watch Party in Downtown Hollywood.

🕓 Festivities begin at 4 p.m.
📍 Downtown Hollywood

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE + ACCESS
Hollywood Boulevard will be closed from 19th Avenue to 21st Avenue beginning at 7 a.m. on June 27.

This is event is FREE to enter, but it will be a fenced, secured event with security screenings and entry checkpoints. Please allow extra time for entry and arrival. Gates will close when capacity is reached.

Coolers and outside alcohol are NOT allowed inside the event area. To keep walkways clear and sightlines open to screens, pop-up tents, umbrellas, and other shade structures are not permitted.

$15 flat-rate parking available at the following Downtown garages and lots:
– Radius Garage (251 N 19th Ave)

• Free parking at City Hall (2600 Hollywood Boulevard)
