The beneficiary of the 2024 East Coast Surfski Championship is the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation.

Chief Michael Huck of Dania Beach Ocean Rescue has brought our race back to the beach where it all started 37 years ago!

UPDATE: Race date will be Saturday October 19th with a Surfski Foundation event on Sunday October 20th. Race start will be late morning allowing out of towners to save on a hotel room.

2024 East Coast Surfski Championship is being planned for October at Dania Beach, Florida.

Race distances will be 12 mile ocean and 4 mile protected water.

My friend, your friend, Jeff Stephens has passed away.

I greatly respected Jeff and his enthusiasm to live his best life for himself, his wife Maureen Stephens and their family.

Jeff and Maueen owned The Paddle Attic and introduced countless numbers of people into the world of kayak and surfski paddling.
Jeff, a man of integrity, honesty and fairness. He lived the life he loved & loved the life he lived.

Our world is indeed a better place because of the manner in which Jeff Stephens lived.

Jeff will be honored and missed by all who knew him.

Thankyou Jeff Stehens for being our friend and making our world a better place.

Race schedule for Surfski, SUP, OC-1 and Prone for the 25th Anniversary Lanakila Iki Ocean Challenge. Saturday October 8, 2022 on the beach in Hollywood, Florida. Four- and Eight-mile distances. A portion of the proceeds generously support the Hollywood Junior Lifeguards competition team. Register early to reserve a commemorative jersey in your size.
