has signed SB 182 into law, removing zoning barriers that prevented smaller schools from opening or expanding in the communities that need them most.
This started with conversations from school leaders. It became policy through advocacy. Now it’s law.

SB182, including Teach Florida’s zoning reforms, has passed the Florida Senate and is now headed to the Governor’s desk. 🏛️ For years, zoning barriers have limited the ability of Jewish day schools to open and grow.

Thanks to the voices of parents, advocates, and community leaders across Florida, that is beginning to change. This legislation will help open the door for more Jewish day schools and expand access to Jewish education statewide. 📚
