🚨 Teach Florida Secures $20 Million to Protect 16,000 Jewish Day School Students
Governor DeSantis has signed Florida’s budget, including $20 million for security at Florida’s Jewish day schools.
Because of Teach Florida’s advocacy, Jewish schools across the state have the critical security measures necessary that keep students safe, including:
✅ Security guards
✅ hardening improvements
✅ Secure transportation
✅ Security cameras
✅ Fencing
✅ Other essential safety measures
As antisemitism continues to rise, protecting and advocting for Jewish students remains one of Teach Florida’s highest priorities.
