Havent gotten your fill of the stone fruit prized for its vibrant juicy sweet flavor yet?!

Pick and choose to join The Hollywood Historical Society for an afternoon of mangoes, music, art, history and family fun that includes story telling, an informative talk on various kinds of mangoes and arts and crafts for all ages at the Mango Tango Festival!

Explore the Historic Hammerstein House, feast on the all things mango art exhibition, enjoy live Argentine Tango performances, sample delicious entries in the Mango Recipe Contest, shop local vendors, get schooled on and discover all things mango and more!

In addition there will be all tastes mango recipes to share and feel free to bring a mango recipe of your own to share as well.

Feeling the heat?! Too hot in the kitchen?! Find one of these "cool" spots and dine in comfort while supporting those who served up a small sampling of what they have to offer at our Taste of Hollywood event this past May.

The Greek Joint and Krakatoa on Hollywood Blvd, 1924 Bar and Grille at the Hollywood Beach Golf Club, MAD Pizza at the American Legion, Kayao Peruvian Nikkei, My Favorite Spot and Ice Creamery at the Food Hall, Redwood Bar and Kitchen on Harrison Street and Antonio's Pizza Hollywood Blvd. west of I95.

Did you know there are an estimated 1,000 to 2,000 different varieties of mangoes grown worldwide?! They vary wildly in size, color, texture, and sweetness, though many share similar regional origins.

Get up close and personal with a handful of the varieties grown here in our own backyards at the family friendly something for everyone Mango Tango celebration on Saturday, June 20th from 11-3 at the Historic Hammerstein House.
