✨ We are honored to welcome Fr. Matias Hualpa as a guest speaker at the 38th Annual Culture of Life Conference on October 4th!

Fr. Matias Hualpa was born in San Juan, Argentina. He entered the seminary in Miami, four years after he came to Miami for work. He got a Bachelors in Philosophy from St. John Vianney College Seminary and a Master in Divinity from St. Vincent de Paul. He was ordained on May 24, 2014.

Fr. Matias has served at St. Thomas the Apostle as an associate pastor, at St. John Vianney as Vice-Rector and Dean of Students and is currently serving as pastor at Blessed Trinity Parish. He’s been involved with Rachel’s Vineyards and Entering Cannan since 2018.

✨ We are honored to welcome Joseph Harmon as a guest speaker at the 38th Annual Culture of Life Conference on October 4th!

Dr. Joseph Harmon serves as Policy Coordinator at the Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops, the public policy voice of the Catholic Church in Florida. He oversees issues related to Human Life and Dignity, as well as Family and Social Concerns, representing the Church before state government and engaging with community partners. He collaborates with diocesan respect life directors, staffs the Prison Ministry Committee, and supports the Religious Education Committee.

Before joining the FCCB, Dr. Harmon earned a Ph.D. in history from Florida State University, where he also taught courses on early modern Europe and the French Revolution, focusing on Church–state relations and political violence. He lives in Tallahassee with his wife, Laura, and their three children.

Stephanie is a world-renowned pro-life speaker who began sharing her message at just 18 years old. Over the past two decades, she has delivered more than 1,000 talks across North America, Europe, and Latin America, including at prestigious institutions such as Yale University and George Washington University.
She has engaged in public debates with leading abortion advocates—including physicians, professors, and directors of major organizations—offering clarity, compassion, and conviction in defense of life.
Beyond abortion, Stephanie also speaks on the topic of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and is the author of On IVF (formerly Conceived by Science: Thinking Carefully and Compassionately about Infertility and IVF).
📚 She holds a BA in Political Science from UBC and a Certification in Health Care Ethics with Distinction from the National Catholic Bioethics Center in Philadelphia.

Today we honor St. Maximilian Kolbe! St. Maximilian Kolbe is truly inspiring. His unwavering faith, selfless sacrifice, and dedication to helping others show profound courage and love. His life is a testament to the power of compassion and devotion. St. Maximilian is the patron saint of the pro-life movement. He sacrificed his life for another in the Auschwitz concentration camp. Kolbe started a major reform movement among his fellow Franciscans, he ran an enormous religious publishing business that spread the gospel throughout Poland and provided shelter and protection for many refugees and Jews during the N**i occupation of Poland in World War II. As for what he did, we are doing the same by continuing to protect every life. St. Maximilian pray for us!
