"There is a last time for everything. One day will come when you will feed your child for the last time, when they will fall asleep on your lap after a long day, and the last time you will hold them while they sleep. You will wash their hair for the last time, and when you hold their hand in the street... after that, they won't need these things from you anymore. You will stop waking up in the middle of the night to hold them, stop singing to them and playing with them. There is always a last time.
When you take them to school, you'll kiss them goodbye, and the next day they won't ask you to take them anywhere again. There will be a last time you read them a bedtime story, clean their dirty face, as well as a last time for everything else. So, as you live these moments, remember that they will end and will not last forever."
هناك مرة أخيرة في كل شيء، سيأتي اليوم الذي ستطعمون به طفلكم لآخر مرة، النوم على اللابتوب بعد يوم طويل، والكرة الأخيرة التي ستحضنونهم بهاوهم نائمين، ستغسلون شعرهم لآخر مرة، وعندما ستمسكون يدهم في
الشارع.. وبعدها هم لن يحتاجو الأمور ذاتها منكم بعد الآن، ستتوقفون عن الاستيقاظ في منتصف الليل لتحتضنوهم، ستتوقفون عن الغناء لهم واللعب
معهم، فهناك دائماً المرة الأخيرة”.
عندما ستصطحبونهم إلى المدرسة ستقبلونهم قبلة الوداع، وفي اليوم التالي لن يطلبوا منكم أن تصطحبوهم إلى أي مكان مجدداً، سيكون هناك آخر مرة تقرأون لهم فيها قصة ما قبل النوم، تنظفون وجههم المليء بالأوساخ، كما ستكون هناك لهم فيها قصة ما قبل النوم، تنظفون وجههم المليء بالأوساخ، كما ستكون هناك . لذا وأنتم تعيشون هذه اللحظات تذكروا أنها ستنتهي ولن تبقى للأبد
