Buongiorno!

Last night was one of those meetings that reminds you why Toastmasters is so much more than standing behind a lectern and giving speeches.

Our beautiful U-shaped setting was completely full. Members and guests came together for an evening filled with great speeches, an unforgettable Ice Breaker, valuable evaluations and an educational session about how to take full advantage of every opportunity a Toastmasters meeting offers.

We even added coffee and more sweet treats to our usual refreshments, and they were a big hit.

But the best part?

The meeting ended, and people stayed.

They stayed to talk, laugh, network, share stories and enjoy each other’s company. No one was rushing to leave.

This is what we are building: the whole Toastmasters experience.

A place where you come to improve your communication and leadership skills, but you also find friendships, connections, support and a community.

And honestly, where else does this happen?

Where else do people stay long after a meeting is over simply because they are having such a great time together?

This is not just about speeches.

This is not just about meetings.

When 37 people choose to spend their Monday night together, there must be a reason.

And last night, we saw it.

Hollywood Toastmasters is about much more than speeches. It is about people coming together to learn, connect, encourage one another, and step onto the stage.

Our meetings are growing, our audience is growing, and the energy in the room continues to grow with it.

And we do not want our members to simply sit and watch. We want them to experience it. We want our guests to get a taste of it too.

Because growth does not happen by watching.

Growth happens when you do it.

Maybe you have been thinking about visiting us. Maybe you have been wondering what happens when you walk through those doors.

There is a special energy in the room at Hollywood Toastmasters right now.

Yesterday’s meeting was another great example: a full room, incredible participation, fantastic speeches, engaging Table Topics, thoughtful evaluations, and plenty of laughter and connection.

But what is becoming just as special is what happens before and after the meeting. People arrive early to catch up, meet new people, and enjoy each other’s company. And when the meeting ends, many stay long after the final speech, continuing conversations, enjoying refreshments, and building new connections.

Networking and socializing are becoming an important part of the culture at Hollywood Toastmasters. It is a place where people come not only to improve their communication skills, but also to connect, make friends, and enjoy being part of a great community.

Something special is happening at Hollywood Toastmasters. Come experience it for yourself.

Another unforgettable Monday night at Hollywood Toastmasters!

With 38 people in attendance, the energy in the room was truly magical. The networking and socializing before and after the meeting were just as special as the meeting itself, with great conversations, laughter, and of course, our famous Hollywood refreshments.

Our Toastmaster of the Day made a memorable entrance to the tune of Stayin’ Alive, setting the tone for a fun and energetic evening.

The Table Topics session was creative and engaging, our speakers were outstanding, and the evaluations were insightful and encouraging.

There is no other club in South Florida where you can learn, get inspired, meet great people, enjoy great refreshments, and have this much fun at the same time.

At the end of the day, people may not remember every detail of the meeting, but they will remember how they felt. And judging by the smiles, laughter, and energy in the room, I think we all left feeling inspired and energized.

If you have been thinking about improving your communication skills, becoming a more confident speaker, meeting inspiring people, or simply trying something new, come join us. You might be surprised by what happens when you step onto the stage.

Hollywood Toastmasters is on fire. Great things are happening here, and this is only the beginning!

🥊 Every time we step on stage, we throw another punch at our fear of public speaking.

Last night at Hollywood Toastmasters, I opened the meeting as Toastmaster of the Day wearing boxing gloves and walked on stage to the Rocky soundtrack, Eye of the Tiger.

The boxing gloves were not for show. They represented the battle we all face every time we speak in public. Confidence is not something we are born with. It is something we build, one speech at a time.

We had an incredible evening with 30 people in attendance, outstanding speeches, entertaining Table Topics, insightful evaluations, and an atmosphere full of energy, encouragement, and laughter.

And yes… there was homemade tiramisu! A big thank you to Apoorva and my daughter Sofia for making two delicious tiramisus that were the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meeting.

If public speaking is something you want to conquer, come visit us one Monday evening. You do not have to be great to start… you just have to be willing to step into the ring. 🥊🎤

What happened at Hollywood Toastmasters last night?

Pure magic.

The energy was through the roof!

35 people filled the room, and from the very first minute, you could feel that something extraordinary was about to happen.

As the opening notes of We Are the Champions by Queen filled the room, our Toastmaster of the Day, Marilena, made a grand entrance that electrified the audience. From that moment on, everyone knew this was going to be a special night.

Only at Hollywood Toastmasters.

The audience was completely galvanized. Every speech, every evaluation, every Table Topic kept the momentum building.

We were honored to witness a three-time District Evaluation Champion deliver a masterpiece of speech evaluation.

A successful entrepreneur rehearsed a compelling fundraising speech.

A rising star delivered a powerful inspirational speech that captivated the entire room.

The word is spreading throughout the District. People are coming to experience what everyone is talking about.

This was not just another Toastmasters meeting.

It was an experience.

People left educated, motivated, inspired, and thoroughly entertained.

If you have not experienced Hollywood Toastmasters yet, you are missing something truly special.

What a phenomenal meeting at Hollywood Toastmasters!

Last night we welcomed an amazing group of first time guests who came to experience what everyone has been talking about. The energy was contagious, the speeches were inspiring, the evaluations were insightful, and the camaraderie was second to none.
