Representing Hollywood's Northwestern Gateway Community. Where neighbors come together to improve our neighborhoods through community engagment and volunteerism

Our Association is a pro-active volunteer organization. We must all be involved and participate in taking care of the neighborhood where we live. It is a great place to share information, inform, educate and communicate with your neighbors. The Driftwood Civic Association has the support of both the Fire and Police Departments. Also, we have a Code Enforcement officer we can call anytime. We have

city officials we can call on if we have problems and get quick results. Our Association is not just here for today’s issues, but for ongoing concerns in our neighborhood. We all want to improve the appearance of our streets. Encourage a spirit of friendly, open relations among residents we all need to maintain the appearance of our property. Let us all start working together to fight the problems we hear about every month. Crime and graffiti are two of the big issues. Come join our Association and help us to keep our neighborhood safe and well maintained. We all want a community that is safe, crime-free and peaceful. One with beautiful parks and recreational facilities; a neighborhood for all of us. The Association is a place for all of us to meet, discuss and solve our problems. So please volunteer to be a part of our Driftwood Civic Association so together we can get these things done.

🚧 Traffic Calming is MOVING Forward in District 5 🚧
Traffic calming is happening right now across District 5 and after years in the planning, you’re going to start seeing real results on the ground.

Over the next several weeks, crews are working throughout our neighborhoods installing speed tables, signage, and roadway improvements on streets like Arthur Street, Farragut Street, N 76th Avenue, and more.

This is about one thing: keeping our residents safe.

We’ve heard the concerns about speeding and cut-through traffic, and we’re taking action to slow things down and protect our families, especially near homes and schools.

⚠️ Please be patient while work is underway—this schedule is active and may shift slightly as crews move through each location.

We’re not just talking about safety—we’re delivering it.
