The Compassion Health Foundation’s MindFest gala campaign is off to a superb start. Yesterday, we hosted our 2nd MindFest Executive Leadership Board meeting at Stiles Stiles. Thank you to our amazing Executive Leadership team for being so committed to this Mission. We also held the “Meet & Greet” with our honoree and Humanitarian Leadership Award recipient Teddy Morse Teddy Morse & Ed Morse Automotive Group Ed Morse Automotive Group . Teddy has been a supporter of the Mission & organization since its inception. Helping individuals overcome mental health challenges, specifically on PTS and substance abuse challenges. We are honored to present this award at the MindFest gala in February 2027.
The Humanitarian Leadership Award recognizes influential leaders in our community that are making significant contributions to society through; leadership, philanthropy, service to the public and a strong influential impact to make our community great.

Su***de is one of the leading causes of death and it affects people of all ages, gender, races and socioeconomic backgrounds. Everyone can play a role in su***de prevention. Starting a conversation with a loved one who may be struggling with thoughts of su***de, offer support, model self-care, provide hope to those who may need it the most. There are resources available to those in need. The 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline is a free, confidential national service that connects people in crisis to trained counselors 24/7.
You can call or text #988. It’s a network of more than 200 local crisis centers that help with suicidal thoughts, mental health distress, substance use, or just needing someone to talk to—no judgment, no insurance needed.
Spanish support is available, plus interpreters in over two hundred forty languages, and specialized lines for veterans and people who are deaf or hard of hearing. ***depreventionmonth

Working and collaborating closely with our local hospitals and mental health centers; for adults and youth. We provide; workshops, Lunch & Learns, seminars and activities for programs in prevention and education. Let’s stop the stigma around mental health and provide the proper help and support.

It’s ok to not be ok. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, it’s a sign of STRENGTH. Let’s continue to promote mental wellness, awareness and education on reducing the stigma. 💚

Honored to collaborate with the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) in our mental health initiatives. During we are taking further action in bringing this awareness to Broward County, through; workshops, employee seminars, self-care wellness forums, and simply reaching out for support, every step forward counts.
At Compassion Health Foundation, we are dedicated to providing resources, guidance, and a safe space for mental health.
