We're excited to officially share Volume 1 of The Cultivator: The Lettuce Lab's Journal!

Inside, we're sharing some of the people, programs, stories, and moments that have helped The Lettuce Lab grow so far, plus a peek at what's coming next!

🍁Our Fall CREATE Opportunities Are Here! 🍁

Our summer classes may be over, but we're not done creating yet! 🍂

Beginning September 17, we'll be back at The Cove at Waypoint Church for eight weeks of creating, learning, and spending time together. We've planned a fun mix of seasonal projects—from simmer pots and pressed flowers to Halloween creations, ornaments, painted rocks, and more!

Members will be involved in each step of the creative process, with opportunities to build skills, express their creativity, and help create products that may be sold to support The Lettuce Lab.

💚 There is no required class fee. If you're able, a suggested contribution of $10 per class helps us cover materials and continue providing inclusive opportunities like these.

DiversAbility Day is a free afternoon of adaptive outdoor recreation, connection, and fun—and we'll be there with an informational table sharing more about The Lettuce Lab, our programs, and what we're working toward.

🌸 Pressed Flower Studio 🌸

We wrapped up our summer Rooted Creations classes today with a morning learning about the art of pressing flowers!

After exploring the basics of flower pressing, everyone pressed a few blooms of their own. Then, we created beautiful window hangers, decorative plaques with vintage book pages, and glass bottles for our botanical art creations.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this summer!
We loved creating with you and can't wait to see what we'll make together next!

🌿 Yesterday was our first Propagation Studio! 🌿

We had a wonderful time learning how new plants can grow from just a simple cutting.

Each member planted their own propagation stations and discovered that with a little care, patience, and the right environment, something small can grow into something amazing!

It was a fun morning filled with learning, creativity, and plenty of smiles.

Just like people, plants thrive when they're given the right environment to grow!
