Want to get involved with the Holly Grove Elementary PTA but aren’t quite ready to commit to a specific board position? This could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Think of our Member at Large role as being a super volunteer!You’ll have the chance to jump in where help is needed, support PTA events and activities, and make a difference for our students and staff, without a huge time commitment.

It’s also a great way to dip your toes into the PTA and learn more about how you can get involved in our Holly Grove community.

Meet Your PTA President: Monica!

Hi, Hedgie families! 👋 I’m Monica, your newest PTA President, taking over from Jackie Stearns. I definitely have some big shoes to fill, but I’m incredibly excited (and motivated!) to step into this role and learn more about what Holly Grove Elementary needs, as well as what our community of parents would love to see.

A little about me: This is my second year on the PTA Board! Last year, I served as a Member-at-Large, and I had originally planned to serve as your secretary this year. Well…plans changed, and here I am as your PTA President!

I’m a mom to a first grader and a tiny toddler, and I’m also a working, traveling mama who has volunteered to take on this role in my very limited free time. While I may be new to the president role, I’m excited to learn, listen and work alongside our amazing Holly Grove community.

This year will be a big year of learning, listening and planning as we prepare for the exciting transition to having all of Holly Grove on one track next year. But that doesn’t mean we’re sitting this year out! We already have some exciting projects in the works, and I can’t wait to share more with you.

I’m looking forward to getting to know more of our Hedgie families and introducing you to the rest of our PTA Board over the coming weeks.

Holly Grove PTA is looking for a photographer

The Holly Grove Elementary PTA is looking to partner with a local photographer who would be interested in hosting mini photo sessions for Holly Grove families.

In years past, these sessions have been a huge hit with our families, and we’d love to bring them back while partnering with a talented photographer in our community.

If you’re a photographer or know someone who might be a great fit, we’d love to hear from you!

Exciting news! Our book vending machine has two very special autographed books waiting for new homes! We are thrilled that Ms. Tozzi and Ms. Russell have published their own books.
