Yesterday, Soleful Kicks made a special delivery to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Wake County in support of their A.I.M. (Academic Intervention Management) program โ and this partnership is exactly why Soleful Kicks exists. ๐โค๏ธ
These werenโt just โshoe donations.โ Each told a story.
These shoes became part of a much larger effort to support young people who may be struggling academically or at risk of falling behind.
The A.I.M. program works primarily with 1stโ5th grade students, providing:
๐ Academic intervention and educational support
๐ Bi-weekly reading assessments to track growth
๐ฏ Goal-setting and case management services
๐ Connections to resources and family support
Most importantly, the program helps young people build confidence through consistent encouragement, structure, and achievable wins.
At Soleful Kicks, we believe incentives work best when they are connected to effort, growth, and relationships. In this case, new sneakers became a motivating reward tied to academic engagement, progress, and participation in the program.
Thatโs the deeper story we always want to tell.
The shoes matter โ but the mentorship, support systems, accountability, and belief being built around these youth matter even more.
Huge thank you to Dasia, Amanda, and the entire Boys & Girls Clubs team for the incredible work they are doing every day for young people in our community. We are proud to support programs like A.I.M. that are creating real momentum for youth and families. ๐
