Hey everyone,

Just a reminder that Gym Jam is this Sunday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at 1:30!

This year we're going to make a few changes to make it a little less chaotic, damage fewer planes, and to try and ensure everyone has a good time. Not everyone wants to come fly a disposable aircraft. Here's the plan:

1) We'll have actual pilot stations to fly from
2) We're going to keep the number of simultaneous flyers to four or five (just like at the field) in order to reduce carnage
3) We'll have specific times for ChitiCat driving to avoid situations like last year where a plane lands and then gets obliterated by a ChitiCat...that's not cool.
4) We'll still reserve a time for chaos, gaggle, and demolition flying if people still want some of that, but we don't really want a free-for-all the entire time.

I hope these changes make our event more fun for more people and a little more equitable!

Don't forget we have our first club meeting / flying session this Saturday at 10:00 at Hawk Field! This is the one that was rescheduled from January due to bad weather.

Hey everybody! This year we're going to make an effort to have regular, predictable club meetings/flying sessions.

We'll be meeting on the 4th Saturday of every other month at 10:00 AM at Hawk Field (starting this month), for a short club meeting (20-30 minutes) followed by flying as a club!

I'll be adding Facebook events for these, and this info will be added to the website too. This is also a great opportunity to invite newcomers or the public to come hang out and spectate, try flying, or learn more about the hobby.

Hope you can make it, and we look forward to seeing you at the field!

Come join us at GymJam 2026 for some well-mannered flying frivolity! Come fly indoors where it's warm and not windy!

Bring your electric-only, indoor models, tiny whoops, foamies, whoovers, and UMX planes to fly in the gym.

Bring it, fly it! Doors open at 1:00 pm, flying until 4:30pm.

$20 landing fee - pay on site by cash or card.

This is an AMA sanctioned event, and an active AMA membership is required to fly.
