Can you help? This precious girl's owner passed away and she needs a home. Her name is Missy. She is 15 years old. Ol' Hank's Place is full and closed for intake, otherwise we would take her. If anyone can step up and offer this precious baby a home, OHP will pay for vaccinations and vet exam. Please message if interested.

Yesterday was the hardest day we've ever had in 10 years of rescue.

Our sweet Pyrenees, Eugene, got very sick suddenly within 24 hours. We needed to get him to the vet, but our car was stuck in ice. Neal managed to pull the car free with the tractor, but it took time. Time we didnt have to spare.

Eugene couldn't walk and was too heavy to carry, so we made a gurney from a feeding trough and pulled him with the 4-wheeler to the car. When we finally got him in the car, Neal rushed him to Dr. Hearn, who was waiting for us.

Sadly, despite everyone's best efforts, Eugene didn't make it. We did everything we could, and so did Dr. Hearn.

Rest in peace, sweet Eugene. This one hits hard. 💔
