On September 17th, Holly Springs Toastmasters had a lot to celebrate! We had a full agenda with three incredible speakers, a fitting theme of fall fun, and awards galore for our members! See additional posts to help us honor our members dedication, and accomplishments!

On September 10th we learned all about each other’s current and past pets! Not every meeting is all about the next goal post or achievement, sometimes it’s about getting to know one another better!

Holly Springs Toastmasters creates a warm and welcoming community where you can grow in confidence, public speaking, leadership, and connections! 🐶🐈🐸🐢

On September 3rd, our VPE Chandru Mohanraj served as our Toastmaster of the Day, and seemingly, our own personal club motivational coach!

He reminded us, it is okay to step back, reset, refocus and course correct when needed. The most important first step is remembering what our goals are.

Every meeting has a theme set by our Toastmaster of the Day. This role is a great way to show the club your personality and make the meeting unique!

A carousel of wins! On August 27th our Vice President of Education, Chandru Mohanraj, had several acknowledgments for the accomplishments of our members! He presented our Sergeant-at-Arms, Adrian Dumas, with his Pathways Level 3 completion ribbon!

Chandru as well as our club President, Denis Shatilov, presented Mariam Shatilova with her Pathways Level 2 completion ribbon!

Chandru and Meri Lynch, DTM presented our club President Denis Shatilov with his Pathways Level 1 completion ribbon!

Chandru welcomed our newest member, Mani Prabhakar Bonam, with his new member ribbon!

Back to school and back to building better communicators and leaders! 🎤📚

One of the best updates of the night came from Lillian Falciglia, DTM, who shared that Holly Springs Toastmasters is crushing our club goals and is well on our way toward earning Smedley Distinguished status again this year! 👏 That achievement reflects the consistency, growth, and participation of our entire club.

Our Word of the Day was “chipper” and it was a fitting description for an evening full of positive energy, learning, and connection.

Ready to strengthen your communication and leadership skills alongside us? Come be our guest!

In leadership, communication, and life, it’s easy to stay busy. But real growth comes from focusing on what truly moves you forward, not just filling your calendar.

This week’s Holly Springs Toastmasters meeting challenged us to think about leading through connection, and this quote was a perfect reminder that intentional action always outweighs constant motion.

If you’re looking to become a more confident speaker, stronger leader, and better communicator, we’d love to have you join us.
