Fairview Rural Fire Department - Junior Firefighters Fairview Fire Department Junior Firefighter program

The Fariview FD Junior program was established to provide area high school students with an interest in the emergency services an opportunity to participate in training and mentorship in the fire service. The Fairview Rural Fire Department is a combined volunteer/career fire department that serves a rural fire district covering approximately 10 square miles, including over 110 commercial structures.

Please join us in congratulating our Junior Firefighter Competition Team on their outstanding performance yesterday in the Alamance County Junior Firefighter Competition. Their hard work and dedication definitely paid off, as they finished fourth out of seven teams from across the state.

Congratulations also go to Junior Firefighter Schreibeck as she received the MVP Award for the entire competition.

Junior Firefighter Barnwell

We also want thank Captain Blanks for leading the team through months of preparation and practice; and coordinating their participation in the competition.

Congratulations to all our junior members that graduated high school this week. We are super proud of your accomplishments.

We also had a special send off today for junior firefighter Maser, who starts the Air Force Academy in two weeks. Good Luck and we will miss seeing you around the fire station in the afternoons.
