The Sandra West ALS Foundation is honored to announce the winner of our Fall 2026 Scholarship - $5,500 to Niagara Millen - Freshman at Mercyhurst University.

She exemplifies every quality the foundation seeks to uplift. Her dedication to academic excellence, paired with a genuine commitment to community service, reflects a deep sense of responsibility and compassion. Niagara has demonstrated remarkable resilience in the face of personal challenges and continually channels that strength into advocacy, leadership, and support for others. Her integrity, empathy, and drive to make a meaningful impact align perfectly with the foundation’s mission, making her an outstanding and deserving recipient of this year’s award.

The foundation has now awarded nearly $50,000 in scholarships in just 2 years.
