Gainesville Hackerspace is having a sewing machine repair workshop tonight Wednesday, Oct 8. I've asked if I can share with our community and they were happy to share.

Hoping to do similar classes here in Hollister for those who want to stay closer to home for reasons. This is a great way to see what collaborative making spaces can do for a community and share some experience along the way.

All entries will be on display during our Pumpkin Patch Swap on October 11. Be sure to stop by our voting table to pick your favorite — it’s all about fall fun for everyone! 🍁

🏆 The winner will be announced at 2 PM and will take home a Boo Basket full of treats and surprises! 👻

Orlando, St. Augustine and Green Cove Springs. We're here for our local athletes and supporters as we enter the Highland Game Season for our region of Florida. Learn about the culture, traditions, stories and music of Highlands to connect with ancient roots and respect well-earned.

Calling all Athletes and anyone who is interested in Highland Athletics. Registration is now open for the 48th edition of the Central Florida Highland Games on our website https://www.flascot.com/athletics.html.

Please join us for this event. Novices are welcome.

We will be hosting a practice at Central Winds Park on October 11th. No experience necessary.

David and I will be away this weekend engaging with our cultural roots, which enrich our lives and strengthen our ties to community and artistry.

I'm putting the next phase out there in case anyone would like to share helpful, inspiring, informed thoughts on our next phase, the dirty shop. We have a big garage waiting to go to work to share tool know-how and build together. But first, we must reclaim it. Here's the game plan for anyone interested. Feel free to text me or email me. We're looking to have this space available for the cooler weather to come.

Also, if you have gallon milk jugs please wash and save them for us. We have a workday coming up where we'll be making outdoor decorations for the spooky season. Contact us if you're interested so we can set a date. Looking forward to working with you!

--------Update- Rescheduled. Our friend at Alibaba has twisted his ankle and needs some time to recover. Wishing him comfort and healing as he heals up. ---------

Looks like we're in for some rain this weekend so we'd like to look at the garage and see what it will take to prep for the upcoming workday. Looking to line up a debris trailer so we can sort through anything that is not in re/useable condition. The Ravens found some hardware shelving so we can sort through parts when the time comes. We have some shelving and let's see what else we can uncover.
