San Benito County Cemetery Preservation Society is strongly committed to the preservation and protection of human burial sites from unauthorized and unwarranted disturbance, by man or nature in San Benito County, California. We believe that the willful destruction of human burial sites is unacceptable in a civilized society. It is our primary objective to increase the awareness and highlight the i

mportance of our historic cemeteries as sources of community and state pride, while promoting an attitude of reverence and respect, and encouraging the further preservation of these unique historical resources for future generations to appreciate and learn from.

Showed up this morning to continue work on the cemetery when I notice that some jerk off has stolen the Cemetery sign. The sigh that hung over the entrance for the past several years that cost me $250. However I have someone to make me a new one for me. Who would steal from a cemetery?

The w**ds are more than half removed from the graves. Maybe three weeks from now the cemetery will be all cleaned up for the rest of the year.

Well I hope the rain and wind are gone for the year. The County Cemetery took a hit during one of the storms last month....

Well I hope the rain and wind are gone for the year. The County Cemetery took a hit during one of the storms last month. One down small tree and lots of other branches from other trees. Weeds every where which is normal. Time to start at it again. I can feel the lower back pain already.
