The R.E.A.C.H Board has worked with the last 4 Resource Management Agency Directors in an effort to move this important Regional Park forward. Each one of them held this Park as the sole reason that they took the job to begin with, and Politics as the greatest impediment.

Riverview Regional Park moving forward

Oooo! It's 6:36pm, I looked up, & there was our SUPER MOON! We were sure the clouds would obscure it all together. But not too shabby!

The R.E.A.C.H Board initiated the County Proclamation recognizing July, 2024, as Parks & Recreation month. Every year the National Recreation and Parks Association proclaims July as Parks and Recreation Month, on a national scale.
Now, 2026 looms near. As President, I wish to thank the Board for their loyalty and diligence in their selected rolls promoting San Benito County Parks & Trails. Without the volunteer work you've done, our parks would not have moved closer to the goals R.E.A.C.H set out to achieve.

In 2026, I invite the public to consider joining the Board in any capacity you'd like to be involved in. We welcome you!

For the annual Philathropy Awards in 2025, R.E.A.C.H nominated the best little Trail Boss on our Board! KIM JOHNSON, Board Chair of the Anza Trail, 1st SBC recreation trail on Old Stage Road.
We are proud to say that Kim has coordinated San Benito County RMA (Resource Management Agency), PG&E, County Fire & Emergency Management, GraniteRock, Monterey County Dist 2, and numerous others including the Trail's neighbors. Without her diligent eyes on the Trail for the benefit of all those seeking the peace, freedom & exercise it provides, you would not feel the sense of safe passage as did the travelers of the past 150 years.
Thank you Kim! The Board is profoundly greatful.

Since you folks might be hiking around in this nice weather, it seemed important to post this warning from our favorite NPR radio station, KAZU.
HAPPY HIKING, throughout the Holidays! Take frequent breaks from food & shopping, lol!
