🤝 Lending a Hand to One of Our Own 🤝

One of our local school families is going through an incredibly challenging time after a devastating loss. While we want to respect their privacy, we also want to ensure they feel the full support of our school community.

In support of our friends, the Bowie Family, we are creating a meal train to help with the unimaginable loss of Amber. Curtis and the girls love meat, burgers, steak, rice bowls, and American classic meals. No onions, raw or cooked, please. Drop off location will be in a cooler on thier front porch....

🎃📚 BOOKTOBER FEST NEEDS YOU! 📚🎃

The countdown is officially ON! Our Hollis PTC Booktober Fest is less than ONE MONTH AWAY, and now it’s time to start building our amazing team of volunteers!

📅 Friday, October 30th
⏰ 5:00–7:00 PM
📍 Hollis Elementary School

Booktober Fest is one of those events that takes a whole community to make happen — and we need your help to make this year's event a huge success!

🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ We’ll need volunteers to help with things like:
🎃 Setting up before the event
🚪 Helping with our decorated doors
🍬 Handing out candy
📚 Helping with the Scholastic Book Fair
👻 Assisting throughout the evening
🧹 Cleanup after the fun is over

Whether you can give us the whole evening or just a little bit of your time, every volunteer makes a difference!

This event is all about bringing our school and community together for a fun Halloween celebration for our kids. We can’t do it without the parents, families, teachers, and community members who step up to help.

We are so excited to share these pictures with the Hollis Elementary Community. The equipment is officially shipping from Minnesota on October 1st and making its way to Maine. We are eagerly awaiting its arrival at Hollis Elementary—stay tuned for updates! 💚🛝

📚🍂 HOLLIS PTC IS SEEKING FALL BOOK FAIR SPONSORS! 🍂📚

This year, we have a BIG goal for our Fall Book Fair: we want to make sure EVERY child at Hollis Elementary School gets to take home at least one $5 book! ❤️📖

And we need our amazing community to help us make it happen!

💚 Just $300 sponsors an ENTIRE grade level!
That means every student in that grade will have at least $5 to spend toward a book of their very own.

We are looking for sponsors for all 7 grade levels:
🍎 Pre-K ✔️ sponsored
📚 Kindergarten ✔️ sponsored
✏️ 1st Grade ✔️ sponsored
📖 2nd Grade ✔️ sponsored
🍁 3rd Grade ✔️ sponsored
📕 4th Grade ✔️ sponsored
🎓 5th Grade ✔️ sponsored!

Our total goal is $2,100, and if we can get all seven grade levels sponsored, we can make sure no child has to walk through the Book Fair without the opportunity to choose a book.

Businesses, organizations, families, community groups, or even a group of friends can sponsor a grade! You don't have to cover the entire $300 either — donations of any amount can be combined to sponsor a classroom or grade level.

Books do more than fill shelves. They encourage imagination, build confidence, strengthen reading skills, and give kids something they can call their own.

Hollis has always been a community that steps up for its kids. 💚 Let's do it again!

Help us fill the shelves: Supporting Hollis Elementary students 💚

Dear Hollis Elementary Families,

Every week, our school community comes together to send bags of food home with students who need an extra boost over the weekend. This program ensures that all of our students can return to school on Monday healthy, happy, and ready to learn.

Right now, our shelves are running low, and we need your help to replenish them.

Exciting News!
The Buxton Hannaford has chosen the Hollis PTC as their community partner for the Hannaford Community Bag Program this September!

The Details: For every blue Community Bag purchased through the month of September at the Buxton location, the Hollis PTC will earn a $1 donation.
